These strawberry plants produce small round fruit, dark red in colour with a flavour that makes up for their small size. The plants are vigorous and produce plenty of runners to carry on your supply in future years.
After cleaning out my strawberry beds for the season, I have more than I need so am making a limited number of plants available. These are divisions or runners from the parent plants.

Plant in rich, well drained soil topped with mulch. Strawberries prefer full sun although will tolerate some shade.
Harvest when berries are dark red. Generally eaten fresh. I’ve never had any make it out of the garden but I’m sure they would make a delicious jam
Generally considered part of the Mediterranean guild. Great ground cover, a mineral accumulator and the bees love them too.
